What I Do

Over the last year or two, this site has evolved from an exper­i­ment, a sand­box, a per­sonal por­tal, and then finally a port­fo­lio. Dur­ing the evo­lu­tion, I’ve taught myself some things per­tain­ing to web design, server admin­is­tra­tion, pro­gram­ming, and the lot. While I’m no expert, I do believe that grad­u­ally tweak­ing the site over the years has / will help me in the long term.

In terms of devel­op­ment, I’m pro­fi­cient in xHTML, and CSS, and know enough PHP and JavaScript to be able to under­stand what’s hap­pen­ing in the code. I’m also pretty into Word­Press, phpBB3, and IP.B. You can also catch me slic­ing up PSDs for use in web­sites from time to time.

What I Like

I’m quite par­tic­u­lar when I describe the things I like. Usu­ally, I won’t say that I like every­thing, but instead will name things off one by one. Because lis­ten­ing to me describ­ing the dif­fer­ence between house and trance music is most cer­tainly irri­tat­ing, I thought I’d save you the trou­ble and just list things off here.

I don’t watch very many shows, but the ones I do watch I am a big fan of. Watch­ing each episode is like a rit­ual to me.

I also lis­ten to a lot of music. I can gen­er­ally tol­er­ate any genre, but any­thing beyond coun­try and scream­ing loud metal gives me a headache.

To top every­thing off, I’m also a gamer. Most of my friends are too, so we fre­quently [get] owned together on the same server. My gen­res of choice are Real Time Strat­egy, First Per­son Shooter, and Simulation.
